First Tutor meeting TV320

This was my first individual tutorial with my tutor. At this point I was only attached to one film. During the meeting the most important thing I took away was not to be shunned by my team. Making sure I recorded and got verbal confirmation that deadlines would be put in place so that I don’t have to do my whole sound edit in the final week before hand in. In addition, he also said this year the sound people are in a strong position this year as there is only two of us. As I hadn’t chosen my second project, I pitched my tutor the films I had been pitched. Learning from that he told me to pick a project that is within my skill range and not to pick an idea that requires a lot of experimentation as this is final year I have so much going on and I might run out of time to finish my project, such as one idea where I would have to create the noise and language of an alien within a humans relationship.
